Description
Sprinco AR-15 carbine buffer springs are made from a high-quality Chrome Silicon wire stock which is used in a variety of applications from Formula One to motor valve springs that can see 15,000,000 compression cycles in a single race. This makes it the perfect choice for a carbine spring which will see far fewer cycles in its lifetime. In order for this carbine spring to maintain its strength, Sprinco heat treats, shot peens, and treats each spring with a proprietary formula that retains spring efficiency for as long as you have your rifle. The Sprinco Enhanced Power Carbine Spring is a great option to improve the long-term reliability and consistent function of your AR-15.

This recoil spring is color-coded red, indicating that it is optimal for use with 5.56 AR-15s with a carbine length gas system and buffer tube with a 16” barrel. Sprinco has extensively tested this setup and have concluded that it also works great with thumper cartridges like .458 SOCOM, 6.5 Grendel, .450 Bushmaster, and more.
The red indicator marking is a permanent dye (not paint). This marking helps to identify which power spring is currently in use if you have a habit of constantly tinkering and fine-tuning your setup.
