Our AR-15 barrel pin and weld service will bring your under 16" barrel up to the 16+" minimum required length for a firearm to be considered a non-NFA rifle per the ATF. This service permanently extends the measured length of your barrel and negates the use of a pistol brace or filing of NFA paperwork to make an SBR. The most common barrel lengths typically pinned and welded are 13.7", 13.9", and 14.5". We use the TIG welding process, which leaves a perfectly clean, quality weld with no need for significant post-welding cleanup, unlike other less desirable methods such as MIG or stick.
PLEASE NOTE: Once the pin and weld service is complete, you will no longer be able to remove the gas block or barrel nut. Please be sure of your configuration because it is costly to change after the muzzle device is permanently affixed.

You will need to supply the following items for the pin and weld service:
- Stripped Barrel
- Barrel Nut (please do not send your handguard)
- Gas Block (no gas tube installed)
- Muzzle Device - Uninstalled and MUST be brand new
- We utilize quality Precision Armament shims for muzzle device timing (If you prefer or require other shims please send them with your other components)
- Your desired muzzle device orientation, if necessary (i.e. Right-Hand, Neutral, and Left-Hand timing are common orientations)
Work will be rejected if the muzzle device provided is not brand new.
We do not perform pin and welds on muzzle devices that are not produced from steel. Absolutely no aluminum, titanium, or other devices will be serviced.
